About CheckMyBat
A simple bat-legality site for parents — started by a dad in Bloomingdale, Illinois — built to cover leagues across the country.
What this is
CheckMyBat answers one question: Is this bat legal in my league? We track popular youth models and summarize official rules from Little League, USA Baseball, USSSA, Perfect Game, PONY, Dixie Youth, AABC, NABF, Dizzy Dean, AAU, Triple Crown, NFHS, and public regional pages (like CSYBA).
We are not a governing body, retailer, or manufacturer. We do not certify bats.
How we research
- League rules come from official public pages (linked on each league page).
- Model names and SKUs come from manufacturer and major retailer listings (JustBats, brand sites).
- If a local rule isn’t published clearly, we say so instead of guessing.
Last site-wide content review: October 23, 2026.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on CheckMyBat are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That helps keep the site free.

We never let commissions change a legality answer. A bat is legal or it isn’t based on the stamp and the league rule — not who pays us.
