Affiliate disclosure
In plain English — how CheckMyBat earns when you shop through certain links.
FTC disclosure: CheckMyBat.com participates in affiliate marketing programs. That means we may earn a commission if you click a link on this site and buy something — at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products and retailers we believe are useful for youth baseball and softball families.
Current programs
- Amazon Associates — tracking tag
checkmybat-20on qualifying Amazon product and search links. This is currently the only on-site affiliate network. - CJ Affiliate → DICK’S Sporting Goods — publisher property ID
101911583remains in our CJ account (application pending). On-site shop links temporarily point to Amazon only until DICK’S approves; we have not cancelled the CJ application. - JustBats / Baseball Monkey — partner IDs still empty; those merchants are not linked from shop buttons right now.
Commissions only credit when the program relationship is active. Amazon links use tag checkmybat-20.
What commissions do not change
- Whether a bat stamp is legal in a named league or tournament
- Whether a park cage is listed as free / outdoor
- Age-group sizing guidance (drop, length, glove size)
If two products both fit, we may feature a partner link — but we will not call an illegal bat “legal” for a commission.
How we mark links
Product cards and shop buttons currently go to Amazon (tag checkmybat-20). Some posts and guides may include an #ad or “we may earn a commission” line. This page is the always-on disclosure for the whole site.
