Equipment pattern

MSBL publishes annual coaching/rules PDFs. Recent community and prior season guidance aligns with USA, USSSA BPF 1.15, BBCOR, or wood for youth travel — the same stamp family as most Chicagoland invitation leagues. Always open the current MSBL Rules PDF for age drop caps and any barrel notes.

Do not confuse with Men’s Senior Baseball League (adult wood-bat nationals) — that is a different organization.

Parent checklist

Ask your age director which stamp + drop the current PDF requires before buying.
14U: high-school-rostered players may lose MSBL eligibility mid-season — equipment still follows the league PDF while eligible.
Weekend USSSA / Perfect Game events can be stricter than league play.

Confirm with MSBL: We do not invent a fixed drop chart without the public PDF text. Treat this page as stamp-family guidance until you read the season packet.
