Perfect Game (and many affiliate events) publish bat rules on each event page. Red-flag events follow a common template; White/Blue-flag events can differ.

Typical Red-flag pattern (updated 10/28/2024)
- Bats must show a USSSA/NTS BPF 1.15 mark or USABat, BBCOR, or wood are also allowed.
- 6U–11U: common drops include −12 through −3 (confirm event).
- 12U: −5 USSSA BPF 1.15 bats prohibited (effective Aug 15, 2024). Other listed drops + BBCOR −3 commonly allowed.
- 13U: often −5 or −3 (some AA/AAA events list −8/−6/−5/−3).
- 14U–18U: many events require −3 BBCOR (or single-piece wood). Some 14U AA/AAA pages still list −5 — always open that event’s bat tab.
Illegal-bat penalties commonly follow NFHS-style progressive penalties (out + coach restriction/ejection).
Event overrides rule: Directors may modify rules. For White or Blue flag events, Perfect Game instructs parents to check the bat-restrictions tab on that event’s page.
