AAU Baseball bat rules
Amateur Athletic Union baseball publishes a short national bat policy — and explicitly warns that districts can add rules.
13U & younger (national)No restrictions*
14U & older (national)BBCOR −3
District / regionalMay add limits
USA vs USSSANot specified nationally
National Championship bat rules (AAU site)
- 13U and younger — no restrictions (national championship language).
- 14U and older — BBCOR drop 3.
- “Additional/Different rules may apply at district level events” and regional operators may use additional rules.
*“No restrictions” nationally does not mean every AAU local tournament allows any stamp. Always read that weekend’s rule sheet. We will not invent a USA-only or USSSA-only requirement where AAU doesn’t publish one.
