What parents need to know
- Non-wood bats must show a permanent BBCOR certification mark on the barrel (max 36″ length, 2⅝″ diameter).
- Wood bats are allowed under Legion size rules (see current Junior/Senior rule books).
- Altered or unmarked non-wood bats are removed; player and manager can be ejected.
- Some states publish local clarifications (e.g. embossed BBCOR only, no stickers) — check your state Legion baseball page.
