Parks & rec, YMCA, and PAL
Rec baseball is where most families start. Rules are set by the city, county, YMCA branch, or Police Athletic League — not by a single national bat PDF.
Typical patterns
- USABat is the most common stamp for coach-pitch through ~12U rec.
- Tee Ball bats may need extra “tee balls only” labeling.
- BBCOR appears in older teen / prep summer leagues.
- YMCA and PAL chapters often mirror local park rules or a nearby Little League / Cal Ripken charter.

We cannot inventory every U.S. park district. If your city isn’t named on this site, search your registration packet for “USA,” “USSSA,” or “BBCOR,” then confirm with the league coordinator.
